We would like to introduce a case where issues of odor and transparency caused by simple discharge were addressed with chemicals. In the river, complaints from residents arose due to the generation of odors from malodorous substances and the deterioration of transparency. However, the river is home to many living organisms, such as fish, and it was not possible to use the methods or chemicals commonly employed at wastewater treatment facilities.
